Asante Kotoko striker Kwame Opoku has reaffirmed the club’s ambition to clinch the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League title.
After a slow start to the season, the Porcupine Warriors have regained their form, remaining unbeaten in their last seven matches.
Kotoko wrapped up the first half of the season in third place with 31 points.
Discussing their title hopes, Opoku, who has netted five goals in just four games, emphasized that their goal is to win the league.
“Every big club aims to win the Premier League title and that is our aim,” he told Asempa FM’s Ultimate Sports Show.
“We want to win the Premier League at the end of the season and that is our target,” he added.
Asante Kotoko will kick off the second half of the season with a home match against struggling Karela United on Sunday, January 28, at the Baba Yara Stadium, in the Matchday 18 fixture.
