In a significant move to enhance the living conditions of public sector workers, the Regional Minister for Oti, DSP (Rtd) Daniel Machator, has commissioned two staff accommodations in the Krachi Nchumuru District.
This initiative aims to provide comfortable housing for government employees, thereby improving their productivity and overall job satisfaction.
According to him, providing accommodations for government workers is part of a broader strategy by the Oti Regional Coordinating Council to improve infrastructure and living conditions for public servants.
He noted that as the region continues to develop, initiatives like these are crucial in ensuring that workers are well-supported, ultimately leading to better service delivery for the communities they serve.
Speaking during the commissioning of the building, DSP Machator emphasized the importance of maintaining the facilities and urged the workers to take care of the accommodations.
The Minister also used the event as part of his familiarity tour to the area and engaged government workers and the traditional authorities in the Krachi Nchumuru district.
He sought for prayers from both traditional rulers and the people in the region to thrive the much-needed development.
DSP (rtd) Machator also encouraged government workers to support leadership in executing government initiatives.
The District Executive (DCE) for Krachi Nchumuru, Ogyile Kwesi Nkrumah, expressed gratitude to the government for the timely intervention.
He noted that the new accommodations would significantly alleviate the housing challenges faced by staff in the district.
The DCE emphasized it will not only boost the morale of workers but also attract more skilled professionals to the area.
