The father of the slain O’Reilly Senior High School (SHS) student, Enock Bortey Sackey has revealed shocking details about his son’s brutal murder.
Contrary to earlier reports that Edward Sackey was stabbed with scissors, autopsy reports show the victim suffered three stab wounds from a jackknife, a chilling testament to the violence that claimed his life as narrated by the father after a court session.
Edward’s father and his family, devastated by the loss, have vowed to seek justice for his son.
He expressed his determination to take action, stating he would storm the school if those responsible are not held accountable.
His frustration is compounded by concerns over how the Police are handling the investigation, leading to outcry for swift and fair justice.
In a court session on Monday, October 21, 2024, the family and other attendees awaited the appearance of the accused, Godwin Mawuli Kwetey.
The court ordered the prosecutor to produce the accused within 30 minutes, but when the case was called, the prosecutor requested an adjournment, citing a need for advice from the Attorney General’s Office.
This delay prompted dissatisfaction among the family, who were left feeling frustrated.
The Magistrate, warned the investigator that such holdups would not be tolerated in the future.
Tensions flared when the investigator attempted to defend the delay, but the magistrate remained firm in her stance, emphasizing the importance of timely appearance.
As the court adjourned the case until November 4, 2024.
