Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson is well known for how she puts incumbent governments on their toes when it comes to running the country.
She has on several occasions registered her displeasure about how past and present governments have failed to develop the nation.
In her recent tweet, she advised Ghanaians and Africans to stop seeing their leaders as gods of the country.

Her tweet read: “When you are used to mediocre, you see the leaders as gods, charley the youth, wake up!!!! Educate yourselves. Go to school! Get that degree! Equip yourselves! We are gonna change this country! We will change our destiny and that of our kids!”

She again asked leaders of the country to think twice before receiving grants from foreign countries.
“You think the aids we get are for FREE? You think they don’t have homeless people in their countries too? Well It’s simple…..what they usually get from us is bigger than the aids they give us! It’s BUSINESS! #thinkaboutit #wakeupafrica,” Yvonne added.
