Calamity has befallen Kumasi Asante Kotoko and the entire football fraternity in Ghana after the team bus of the Porcupine Warriors had an accident in Nkawkaw en route to Kumasi.
The Porcupine Warriors had been dealt a huge blow after suffering a 1-0 defeat to Inter Allies in the league and it turned worse after the bus heading to Kumasi from Accra encountered the unfortunate incident.
Initial reports suggest there are casualties with players and backroom staff all affected.
The equipment officer of the team was confirmed to have lost his life while some players and coach of the club have also sustained varied degrees of injuries.
