Oliver Kevor commends Mahama for appointing Victor Bampoe as NHIA CEO

The Eastern Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dr Mark-Oliver Kevor, has praised President John Mahama for appointing Dr Victor Bampoe as the Chief Executive Officer of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA).

Dr Kevor described Dr Bampoe’s appointment as a well-deserved choice, highlighting his dedication to national service and loyalty to the NDC.

He commended Dr Bampoe’s expertise in the health sector, recalling his notable performance as Deputy Minister of Health during Mahama’s previous administration.

“He has a naturally calm demeanor, but his commitment and competence in delivering results are top-notch,” Dr Kevor stated.

He also acknowledged Dr Bampoe’s contributions to the party, particularly his financial and logistical support at the constituency level in Akuapem North and across the Eastern Region.

Dr Bampoe’s appointment comes after the reassignment of Dr Da Costa Aboagye to the Ghana Health Service.
