Obomeng chief warns against drug use ahead of Kwahu Easter festivities

The Chief of Obomeng, Nana Siaw Ampadu, has issued a stern warning to individuals planning to indulge in hard drugs during the upcoming Kwahu Easter celebrations.

He cautioned that anyone caught engaging in drug-related activities will face the full rigour of the law, emphasizing that such conduct will not be tolerated during the festive season.

Nana Obomenghene’s warning is aimed at safeguarding a peaceful, safe, and enjoyable environment for all revellers and visitors throughout the celebration.

He stressed that law enforcement officers will be on high alert to clamp down on offenders and ensure public order is maintained.

In addition to the warning, the Obomenghene outlined plans for the community’s Easter festivities, which are scheduled to run from Monday through to the following Sunday, featuring a variety of cultural and entertainment activities.
