Obofour speaks after Ken Agyapong criticised him for flaunting cars and money at funeral

-

The Founder and Leader of Anointed Palace Chapel (APC), Reverend Obofour, has sent greetings to outspoken Assin Central Member of Parliament (MP), Kennedy Agyapong.

In his latest video, sighted by YEN.com.gh, Obofour also revealed his intentions of paying Mr Agyapong a visit very soon despite his criticisms against him.

Mr Agyapong recently went hard on Obofour after he nearly caused a commotion at a funeral they both attended.

As earlier reported by YEN.com.gh, Obofour brought the town of Tepa in the Ashanti region to a standstill as he attended a funeral of the late father of the Paramount Chief of Tepa, Nana Adusei Atwenewa Ampem I.

Travelling with his wife in a long convoy of flashy vehicles, Obofour got crowds chasing after at the funeral grounds as he splashed some cash on the people who chanted the name of his church.

Mr Agyapong, who was also at the funeral, saw the behaviour of Obofour and his followers as uncalled for and came on radio to criticise them.

But, in a rather conciliatory manner, Obofour has ignored the criticisms and rather asked for God’s blessings for the MP.

“I greet Honourable Kennedy Agyapong. We met a funeral and we could not share greetings. You have a busy schedule but I will arrange with Omanhene and visit you. God bless you,” he said.

Aside Mr Agyapong, Obofour also extended his greetings to the President, Nana Akufo-Addo, his vice, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, and other leaders. He also sent greetings to bloggers and other media people with an admonition that they do their work fairly.
