The Paramount Chief of the Ntotroso Traditional Council in the Ahafo Region, Barima Twereko Ampem III, has expressed his commitment to elevating the Ntotroso Nursing and Midwifery College to a university.
He stated that, strategic measures are being implemented to achieve this goal.
Representing the Paramount Chief at the college’s 10th-anniversary launch, the Kontihene, Nana Okofour Appiah Amankwah, emphasised that the traditional council is prepared to invest significantly in the institution.
This initiative stems from the chief’s vision to establish the college as a hub for training highly skilled health professionals.
During the event, Nana Appiah Amankwah urged first-year students to take their clinical studies seriously, emphasizing that it forms the foundation of their future careers in healthcare.
