Students undergoing National Service registration at the Accra Metropolitan Centre Zone 1, specifically at the Ministry of Information, have been left stranded after long hours of queuing at the Centre to register.

Personnel from other regions say they doubt if they will be able to complete the process unless something miraculous happens.
Deputy Director of the National Service Scheme, Gifty Oware–Aboagye, however, says the biometric registration is automated and allows one to register at any centre, irrespective of distance.
It is however not clear why the personnel will all mass up at the facility when the system allows them to register from wherever they may be.
