Government has promised to build a new Maternity Ward for the Nsawam Government Hospital.
This is to ease pressure at the hospital’s Maternity Ward.
The Member of Parliament (MP) for Nsawam-Adoagyiri, Mr Frank Annor Dompreh announced this when he presented a cheque of GH¢50,000.00 from his MPs Common Fund to add to the hospital’s Health Fund to establish a new Maternity Ward for the hospital.
According to him, the project is expected to be completed before the end of the year and called for support from the public.
He thanked Adom News for throwing the spotlight on the plight of the hospital which highlighted the fact that babies received drips on tables at the hospital and urged the news team to continue the hard work for the development of the country.
The Medical Director of the Nsawam Government Hospital, Kofi Ablorh also in an interview with Adom Kasee reporter, outlined other challenges faced by the hospital and called for support.
