The National Road Safety Authority (NRSA) has raised safety concerns about the Brimso Bridge on the N6 Highway (Accra-Kumasi Highway).
The authority has warned motorists to exercise caution while using the route.
In a press release dated March 24, 2025, the NRSA outlined several hazards, including broken guardrails, a deteriorating road surface that causes vehicles to bounce, the absence of warning signs, and poor visibility due to a lack of streetlights.
The NRSA has notified the Ghana Highway Authority to address these safety risks and prevent potential accidents.
Meanwhile, drivers approaching the bridge are advised to reduce their speed, especially at night.
