The Women’s Wing of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has urged the youth to vote peacefully, supporting both its parliamentary and presidential candidates on December 7.
The Deputy National Women’s Organizer, Mimi Duah who made the clarion call emphasised the need for sustained progress and stability.
Miss Duah added that the NPP has tirelessly worked to improve the lives of Ghanaians and deserve another term.
This was at an intercessory prayer to foster peace and victory ahead of the 2024 general election themed Divine Announcement.
Held in a spirit of reverence, the prayer session was led by the National Women Organizer Kate Gyamfua and her deputies, Mimi Duah and Hajia Safia Mohammed, with a focus on seeking blessings for a peaceful and successful electoral season.
She appealed to Ghanaians to reflect on the achievements of the NPP government under President Nana Akufo-Addo and urged citizens to vote for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, highlighting his commitment to continuing the administration’s progress.
The event was graced by prominent figures, including First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo, Second Lady Samira Bawumia, Chief of Staff Frema Opare, and the wife of Energy Minister Mathew Opoku Prempeh.
