NPP-NDC clash: Police place GH¢20k bounty on suspect

The Ghana Police Service has ramped up its efforts to locate Fatau Motorway, a suspect involved in violent clashes between supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Mamobi, Accra, on October 13, 2024.

Fatau Motorway, who was reportedly seen on video wielding a weapon during the confrontation, remains on the run.

In a statement, the Police called on the public to assist in their intelligence-driven operations by providing any information that could lead to his arrest.

They have offered a GH₵20,000 reward for credible information leading to his capture.

The Police assured that anyone who comes forward with information will be granted confidentiality and protection.

This bounty is part of the broader strategy to ensure accountability for the violence and foster a peaceful political climate ahead of the elections.
