It is believed that in this month Allah (God) first delivered the verses of the Quran.

Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the National Chief Imam, His Eminence, Sheikh Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu, the indefatigable Zongo and Inner City Development Minister, Hon. Dr. Mustapha Abdul-Hamid, as well as our Muslim Brothers and Sisters in Germany, for a successful Ramadan.
As you celebrate this special occasion, May the Almighty Allah, continue to bless you all for your dedication and commitment to peace and justice for our beloved Nation, Ghana.
Once again, Happy EID MUBARAK!
