Boxing star Bukom Banku has expressed his dissatisfaction with President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s leadership, stating that the President has failed in his role.
“Nana Akufo-Addo cannot run the country,” he said on Class FM.
Banku accused Mr. Akufo-Addo of “selling off Ghana’s assets and everything,” claiming, “He’s taken all our money. There is no money in Ghana. Ghana is like an empty can now. No food, no water, no jobs. The youth are suffering.”
Given his assessment, the singer and comedian questioned how the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) intends to break the eight-year or two-term political cycle, as they have proposed. He hinted that such an outcome would be disastrous for the country.
“And they claim they will break the eight. Do they want trouble in Ghana or what?” Bukom Banku asked.
