NPP alleges attack on Ursula Owusu, Tolon MP’s house [Audio]

-

The New Patriotic Party(NPP) has alleged an attack on its Ablekuma West Member of Parliament (MP), Ursula Owusu-Ekuful’s residence.

The NPP Youth Organiser, Salam Mustapha disclosed this at a press conference on Monday, December 9, 2024.

He said the residence in the constituency has been vandalised by suspected thugs of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Despite not disclosing the extent of damage and when exactly the incident happened, Mustapha said the information got to them on Monday afternoon.

He lamented that, the act was part of pockets of violence suffered by its supporters across the country following their setback in the just-ended election.

Mustapha indicated Yendi and its Tolon MP, Habib Iddrisu’s residence was also under attack.

“That you have won elections so the country should flame up? We didn’t go attacking people when we won the 20116 and 2020 election. So why should the NDC subject as to this horror?” he questioned.

He called on the Police to swiftly arrest the perpetrators and bring them to book, stressing the attacks were shameful and cruel.
