Team manager of Accra Hearts of Oak, Sylvester Nii Saban Quaye has said he is unaware of players leaving the club or those to be recruited for next season.
According to him, the seeming confusion in the club which hitherto was united is very unfortunate.
Saban Quaye who is a former team manager of the senior National team, Black stars disclosed this on Asempa FM’s Ultimate sports show, Asempa FM Thursday.
With a few weeks to play rivals Asante Kotoko in the second leg of the President’s Cup in Kumasi and also prepare ahead of the season, Nii Saban Quaye said he is in the dark as to who joins the club to strengthen the team since he has not seen coach, Frank Nuttall’s report after the season.
“As of today, I do not know which p-layers we are recruiting or those we will even let go. I have also not seen the report of Coach Nuttall after the season before he left”, Saban Quaye said.
“I still habour the pain of that MTN FA CUP final loss and I will not let that happen again as we prepare to play them on 24th. Coach Nuttall did not leave any preseason program but let me we are not instigating the players not to renew their contracts”.
Touching on player recruitment, Nii Saban Quaye admitted the club is way behind but is certain new players will be purchased.
