The Government of Ghana, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, has assured that no Ghanaian has died in the recent South African Xenophobic attacks.
In a statement issued by the Ministry in which it described the attacks as unfortunate, the Ministry said “the Government of Ghana assures there has been no confirmed casualties at the moment. Our High Commission in Pretoria is monitoring the situation closely and any new development will be communicated accordingly.”
