Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta has said there will be no additional tax in the 2020 budget.
According to him, the 2020 budget is designed to address the needs of the citizens and not to compound their problems.

He said the 2020 budget is designed to address every hardship and provide Ghanaians with better living standard.
“The overwhelming burden of taxation on Ghanaians has been largely done away with, in the last three years,” he said while reading the 2020 budget in Parliament, Wednesday.

Mr Ofori-Atta further added that he is confident in the economy and the competent leaders heading the financial sector of the country.
“Government has demonstrated discipline and fiscal prudence in the management of the finances to stabilise the economy,” he said.
