Nkwanta Thursdays market opens

-

In a significant boost to the local economy, the Nkwanta South market in the Oti Region has officially opened its doors for an additional trading day on Thursdays.

This new initiative, which complements the existing Monday market, aims to enhance revenue opportunities for the assembly and traders and provide residents with greater access to goods and services.

The decision to introduce Thursdays as a market day was met with enthusiasm from traders, who expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to expand their businesses.

Many vendors noted that the extra day would allow them to reach more customers and increase their sales, which is particularly vital in the current economic climate.

Adom News’ Obrempongba Owusu spoke with several traders at the market, who shared their excitement about the new Thursday opening.

According to the traders, this is a great opportunity for them to sell more of their perishable products and support their families better.

Traders, who have eagerly awaited this day, expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to showcase their goods and connect with customers once again.

They called on the Assembly to put measures in place to ensure that all traders conducting business outside the center are brought to the marketplace to attract more customers.
