Member of Parliament for Odododiodoo, Nii Lante Vanderpuye, has made two heartfelt appeals to God as the National Democratic Congress (NDC) prepares for its inauguration on January 7, 2025.
Speaking with deep gratitude and faith during crossover service at Nigel Gaisie’s Prophetic Hill Chapel, he expressed his reliance on divine guidance for the journey ahead.
He reflected on the party’s hard-fought victory, acknowledging the mercy of God in their success.
“The God who has been merciful to us will continue to show us mercy. We worked hard, but Bible say chariots are prepared for battle, but victory is from God. We have worked before, harder than this time but we didn’t win. This time God has given us a victory beyond all victories”.
Nonetheless, Mr Vanderpuye further made two principal appeals to God; to grant the party wisdom and guidance to successfully lead the nation of over 34.12 million people.
He also prayed that NDC-led government will be one that will glorify God with all their actions and bring ease to its subjects.
Acknowledging that the government will not be perfect, the politician revealed they will seek prayers to navigate their tenure with integrity.
Mr Vanderpuye described the election outcome as a testament to God’s faithfulness, declaring that it serves as proof that the God they serve lives by His word.
He assured that the NDC would remain committed to acknowledging God’s role in their victory. “We will not forget the Lord that led us to the promised land. We shall never, not for a minute, forget God,” he remarked.
