The President of Nigerian Citizens in the Diaspora, Ogbonna Kaycey, has shared his thoughts on the xenophobic attacks in South Africa against African migrants, particularly Nigerian.
In an interview on Adom TV’s Vim Talk show, Kaycey told host, Afia Pokua, that although there have been reports of some Nigerians attacking South African shops, the attacks are minor, compared to those inflicted by South African hoodlums.
“I think Nigerians haven’t even reacted proportionately to what some South African youth have done; if we retaliate, it’s going to be dangerous, but we haven’t,” he told host Afia Pokua.
