Nicolas Jackson has signed a two-year contract extension at Chelsea, tying the forward to Stamford Bridge until 2033.

Jackson arrived at Chelsea in June 2023 on an eight-year deal to 2031, and now the club have seen enough to reward the Senegal international with a further two years.

The 23-year-old scored 17 goals in 44 total appearances for The Blues last season and has continued his form at the outset of the 2024/25 campaign, with two strikes already in just three Premier League games.

“I am feeling very good and am very happy to sign a new contract and stay at the club,” Jackson told the Chelsea club website.

“It feels great the club has confidence in me. I am working very hard. I am very happy to extend my contract and stay here for many years.”

Jackson, a late starter in the game, moved to Europe from Senegal in 2019, joining Villarreal.

He then had a spell on loan at Mirandes, before establishing himself in La Liga in 2022/23, hitting 12 goals in 26 games.

Jackson is one of a myriad of options that Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has at his attacking disposal this term, along with the likes of Christopher Nkunku, Cole Palmer, Jadon Sancho and Marc Guiu.

Chelsea currently sit 11th in the Premier League table, having taken four points from their first three games.

Jackson’s strikes came against Wolves and Crystal Palace respectively.
