The Aben Wo Ha Show on Nhyira FM has visited the All Nations Charity Home in Kumasi to make a donation.
Show host, Joseph Obeng, in conjunction with his team and executives of Aben Wo Ha Fun Club, presented soft drinks, pastries, toiletries, and bags of sachet water to the orphanage.
On behalf of the facility, Rev. Philip Akwasi Nyamekumye received the items and thanked the group for the kind gesture.
The facility, which was recognised by law in 2003, started with 5 inmates but currently has 105 wards under its care, aged between 1 and 23 years.
The orphanage has been keen on giving education to all the children and has over the years produced university graduates.
“God inspired me to start this project after I almost died through wayward life. We need the help of the public to pay for school fees because we currently have 4 university students.
“We are building a dormitory for the boys because the space can no longer contain all of us, so we appeal to all Ghanaians, especially philanthropists, to consider ‘All Nations Charity Home’ when making donations,” said the executive board chair.
Aben Wo Ha Show is a social program aimed at educating, informing and entertaining the audience. It is aired on Nhyira FM every Saturday from 12:00 – 2:00 PM.
Vice President of Aben Wo Ha Fun Club, a sub-group from the Show, Mr. Basam, admonished Ghanaians to make time for the program and also called for more support for the orphanage.
