Next Gen Infraco (NGIC) has officially launched 5G services across Ghana, joining forces with global tech leaders Nokia, Radisys, and Tech Mahindra.
NGIC, the pioneering 5G wholesale infrastructure provider in Ghana, aims to empower telecom operators with robust network capabilities to enhance high-speed, reliable connectivity nationwide.
This initiative supports Ghana’s Digital Agenda 2030 and aligns with the African Union’s Agenda 2063, propelling the nation toward a digitally advanced future.
With the theme, “5G: Accelerating Ghana’s Digital Transformation,” NGIC envisions its infrastructure fostering innovation in healthcare, education, commerce, and more, laying the groundwork for a digitally empowered Ghana.
The phased rollout begins in Accra, Kumasi, and Takoradi, with national coverage planned for 2026.
NGIC’s collaboration with Nokia, Radisys, and Tech Mahindra ensures a world-class 5G network designed to meet Ghana’s evolving digital needs.
The CEO, Tenu Awoonor, highlighted NGIC’s commitment to digital inclusivity, stating, “This launch marks a critical step in realizing our vision of a connected Ghana where opportunity reaches every corner of the nation.”
