NDC’s ‘Moment of Truth’ concert party – Sam Pyne (Audio)

-

Regional Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has described the press briefing series of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) dubbed, “Moment of Truth” as “concert party”.

Samuel Pyne said the latest led by the party’s Communications Officer, Sammy Gyamfi is a “useless piece of exercise”.

The NDC among other things blamed President Akufo-Addo for the Menzgold scandal. It argued that, many people invested due to the tacit endorsement of the gold firm.

The Menzgold problem is largely the creation of Nana Akufo-Addo government. Undoubtedly, the open endorsement of NAM1 and Menzgold by this government greatly enhanced the credibility and legitimacy of Menzgold in the eyes of the general public and encouraged many people to invest with the company even after the Bank of Ghana had cautioned against it,” Sammy Gyamfi added.

But in a rebuttal on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Wednesday, Sam Pyne said these allegations lack logic.

According to him, the fact that President Akufo-Addo and the CEO of Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah also known as NAM 1 shook hands in a picture does not mean he approved of their dealings.

“It is obvious Sammy Gyamfi is confused. How can you see a common handshake to an endorsement? He is indeed a walking contradiction” he fumed.

The NPP Ashanti Region scribe said they will respond appropriately to the hilarious piece of comedy of the NDC.

Sam Pyne called on Ghanaians to treat the ugly noises of the NDC with the contempt it deserves and support government to redeem all it promises.
