NDC will win 2020 polls only if… – John Boadu

-

“The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) will only win the 2020 general election if the New Patriotic Party (NPP) decides not to contest,” John Boadu, General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has said.

To Mr Boadu, the Akufo-Addo-led government’s tremendous developmental projects coupled with the support he is receiving from Ghanaians is a clear indication that the NDC will never return to power.

Addressing delegates at Nalerigu in the North East region during the party’s regional executives elections, Mr Boadu said the NPP government would continue to serve the interest of Ghanaians.

“The NPP government’s social interventions including the free senior high school; One District One Factory; One Village One Dam; Planting for Food and Jobs; Nation Builders Corps, among others, are touching the lives of Ghanaians positively,” he noted.

“It is evident that since the inception of the Fourth Republic, no party has developed Ghana like the NPP has done. If you do proper analysis, you would realize that about 80 per cent of the developments were done by the NPP,” he stated.
