NDC waiting to copy our manifesto – NPP General Secretary

The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Frimpong Kodua, has criticised the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) and its leader, John Dramani Mahama, for their ‘delay’ in unveiling their manifesto ahead of the 2024 elections.

During the NPP’s 2024 election manifesto launch in Takoradi, Western Region, on Sunday, August 18, 2024, Frimpong Kodua hinted that the NDC might end up copying ideas from the NPP’s policy proposals.

“Today is a very important day in our party calendar. After successfully making history and proving doubters wrong by electing a Northerner and a Muslim as our presidential candidate, we are again, as a political party, setting the pace by being the first to launch the manifesto for the 2024 election.”

“I’m not surprised at all because even in exams, students who don’t prepare always want the good ones to start so they can copy them,” he jabbed the NDC.

He also commended the leadership qualities of the NPP flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, expressing confidence in his ability to lead Ghana to significant progress in the next four years.

“I trust Dr. Bawumia and I know he will be a great president of Ghana,” Mr. Frimpong added.
