The Member of Parliament-elect for Asutifi North in the Ahafo Region, Dr. Ebenezer Kwaku Addo, has pledged that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will intensify its efforts to safeguard the parliamentary seat in the 2028 elections.
Speaking at a victory walk in Kenyasi to thank constituents for their support, Dr. Addo highlighted the effectiveness of the party’s campaign strategies in securing a historic win in the 2024 elections, which saw the NDC claim both the presidential and parliamentary victories for the first time in 24 years.
Dr. Addo urged party members to commence preparations for the 2028 elections immediately, emphasizing that strategic planning and execution would be key to retaining the seat.
On his part, Asutifi North NDC Chairman, Lawal Iddrisu, stressed the need for unity and a cordial relationship with all individuals, regardless of party affiliations.
He assured supporters that the party would continue to rely on the approaches that helped it wrestle the seat from the NPP, ensuring success in the next election cycle.
