Voting has ended in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary primaries at various constituencies across Ghana with sorting and counting underway.
Delegates are also on stand-by waiting to hear which of the aspirants will emerge victorious.
A total of 524 candidates are contesting the internal polls in 157 constituencies out of 275 to represent the largest opposition party in the 2020 general elections.
Thirty-nine Members of Parliament went unopposed while the party suspended elections in the Asawase Constituency in the Ashanti region and four other constituencies – Yilo Krobo in the Eastern region, Mpohor (Western region), Ellembelle and Fanteakwa North Constituencies.
