A parliamentary aspirant of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ashaiman constituency has died.
Emmanuel Max-Voy, popularly known as Martin Luther, died at the Ridge Hospital at about 11:pm on Sunday, August 4, 2019 where he was on admission receiving treatment for ulcer.

Nathaniel Kofi Fiador, brother of the deceased, confirmed Mr Luther’s death on Adom News, Monday.
He, however, debunked claims that his brother died of kidney failure.

Mr Luther was a renowned educationist and Managing Director of Happy Home Academy in Ashaiman and also member of NDC’s Finance Committee in the Greater Accra region.
The deceased was seeking to challenge incumbent Member of Parliament for the area, Ernest Henry Norgbey.
He left behind a wife and four children.
Meanwhile, a book of condolence will be opened to the general public at the Martin Luther King Jr. School, Lebanon branch and New Happy Home Academy, Ashaiman New-Town from Tuesday 6th August to Sunday 10th August 2019.
