But prior to his visit, the posters have been allegedly removed by members of the NPP in the region.

Addressing a press conference on Friday, Awutu Senya East Constituency Chairman for NDC, Stephen Ofosu Agyare said the action taken by the NPP is borne out of mischief.

This notwithstanding, he said they will not be intimidated but will go all out to ensure Mr. Mahama’s visit is successful.

Mr. Agyare also accused the Kasoa Divisional Police Commander, ACP David Agyeman Adjem of bias.

He explained that, the police has failed to act even after they reported the matter with evidence.

The NDC Chairman called on the NPP executives in the constituency to call their people to order or face their wrath.

In a quick rebuttal, Awutu Senya East NPP Communications Director, Charles Odoom denied their involvement in the issue.

He revealed that, the posters were defaced by the District Assembly claiming it’s unlawful to paste posters on the wall.

The NPP man explained that, the NDC ignored the inscription POST NO BILL written boldly on the wall .

Meanwhile, Kasoa Divisional Police Commander, ACP Agyeman Adjem says he will not comment on the issues because the matter is under investigations.
