NDC man warns BNI over Agordzo coup case

-

Eric Adjei, Deputy Brong Ahafo Regional Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), says the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) and the Court should be very strategic and tactical in handling the alleged coup plot case.

According to him, just like politicians, security officers also have people who try to bring them down and will do or say anything to tarnish their image.

“We will plead with the BNI to be very careful with how they conduct these investigations because all these security heads who are involved, just like politicians have people who will always want to bring them down,” he said on UTV, monitored by adomonline.com.

He urged the State to deal with the case  fairly and pleaded that their fundamental human rights are not infringed upon.

“I’m not an expect in security so I’m very circumspect in the debate I make and per the intel that the BNI and the national security are using to conduct their investigations up till now some of us are not privy to what they are using to conduct their investigations. We all believe in a fair trial so I will plead that we make the laws work, let’s not infringe on any ones right,” he added.
