The ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) is accusing the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) of creating fear and panic to mar the Ayawaso West Wougon by-elections.

The opposition party withdrew from the Ayawaso West-Wuogon by-election.

The NDC alleges some masked men stormed the residence of the NDC Parliamentary candidate at Bawaleshie and fired multiple gunshots, injuring several people.
