NDC Chairman donates 95 bicycles to boost door-to-door campaign

The Adansi Asokwa Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Nana Yaw Kyei, has donated 95 bicycles to the party’s branch executives to support their campaign efforts ahead of the 2024 general elections.

The donation was made during a presentation ceremony held at Aboabo No. 2 in the Adansi Asokwa District of the Ashanti Region.

Speaking to Adom News correspondent Isaac K. Normanyo after the event, Nana Yaw Kyei emphasized that the bicycles were intended to ease the logistics of the NDC’s door-to-door campaign.

He explained that this mode of campaigning would allow the party’s branch executives to effectively reach out to voters in the constituency’s numerous communities, ensuring maximum engagement ahead of the election.

He claimed the incumbent MP, K.T. Hammond has failed to make any significant contributions to the development of the constituency, with little to show for his years in office, hence his decision to step in.

Several constituency executives expressed gratitude to Nana Yaw Kyei for the donation.

They highlighted that the bicycles would make travel more convenient during the

campaign, especially in reaching remote villages. One executive urged his colleagues to use the bicycles effectively to ensure the success of their efforts, noting that the tools provided should be fully utilized to meet the sponsor’s objective of a successful campaign.
