NDC candidate renovates Shia Health Centre

-

National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary candidate for Ho Central, Edem Kofi Kpotosu has refurbished the dilapidated Shia Health Centre in the Ho Central Municipality of the Volta region.

The health center, constructed in 1976, had not seen any renovation, causing inconvenience for both health workers and community members.

Following a passionate appeal from the chief and elders of Shia, Mr. Kpotosu undertook the renovation, which cost GH₵18,000.

The project was fully funded by the candidate, who hopes to win the Ho Central seat in the December 7 polls.

In an interview with Adom News, Mr. Kpotosu emphasized that the refurbishment was in response to the residents’ concerns.

He expressed hope that the renovated facility would address the previous challenges and improve healthcare delivery in the area.

The completion of the renovation was marked by a ceremony attended by the Chief, Elders, and health workers of Shia, during which the facility was officially handed over.

Esther Yayra Kwawu, in charge of the Shia Health Centre, commended Mr. Kpotosu for the timely intervention and promised that the facility would be put to good use.

The Chief and Elders pledged their full support for Mr. Kpotosu in the upcoming elections.

They believe that electing him will bring massive development in the area.
