The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has released the list of sectoral spokespersons for its 2024 manifesto.
This follows Saturday’s launch of the ‘Change to Reset Ghana’ manifesto at the University of Education, Winneba.
In a statement, the NDC noted the designated spokespersons have been mandated to speak to the key thematic areas, including education, health, economy, governance, jobs, Agriculture among others.
Spokespersons on the economy include the Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga Central, Isaac Adongo, former Deputy Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, Mrs. Mona Helen Quartey, and Dr. Johnson Asiama.
Deputy Ranking Member of Parliament’s Education Committee, Dr. Clement Abas Apaak and Juaboso MP Kwabena Mintah Akandoh have also been named on the education and health teams respectively.
The NDC’s flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, during the manifesto launch, urged the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) government to begin writing their handing over notes as it is time for Ghanaians to show them the exit out of governance for mismanaging the country’s economy.
The former President promised to scrap what he said are draconian taxes within his first 120 days in office if elected on December 7.
Below is the full list of appointed spokespersons.
