NC boss to reveal real issues in FIFA Forensic Audit on Kwesi Nyantakyi

-

President of the Normalisation Committee (NC) of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Dr Kofi Amoah, has played down reports that the Forensic Audit by football governing body, FIFA on the GFA has exonerated former president, Kwesi Nyantakyi.

Former Executive Committee member of the GFA, Kofi Manu said on Asempa FM’s Ultimate Sports morning show that he had a copy of the audit report from FIFA.

He further stated emphatically that the report had made nonsense of the ‘Number 12’ expose’ by Anas Aremeyaw Anas, as it has cleared Mr Nyantakyi of corruption, bribery and misappropriation allegations leveled against him.

But, according to the president of the NC, it’s a lie if anyone claims the report has absolved the former GFA president from any wrongdoing.

“I can tell the public that I have gotten a response from FIFA just last night concerning the Forensic Audit, I will come to the studio at the right time and let people know what it contains,” he assured.

“If you are addressing an issue like this, you have to be truthful. I want to tell you [Kofi Manu] that you have no letter from FIFA which states that the Forensic Audit by PWC has exonerated Nyantakyi,” he told the ex-GFA member on Asempa FM.

“Personally, Kwesi Nyantakyi is my friend and I have nothing against him so we have to stop manufacturing stories, telling lies on this issue won’t help our football,” he added.
