Sports and Recreation Minister Kofi Adams has promised to organize a nationwide tour for the Black Stars if they win the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Following back-to-back victories against Chad and Madagascar, the senior national team now leads Group I with 15 points, with four qualifying matches remaining.
In an interview with Starr FM, Adams, who is also the Member of Parliament for Buem, reaffirmed the government’s unwavering support for the Black Stars in their World Cup journey.
He announced plans for a grand victory tour to honor their success, should they secure the title.
Adams stated that all players would be flown in first class to visit every district in Ghana as part of a nationwide celebration of what would be an unprecedented achievement.
“If the Black Stars win the World Cup, I will arrange first-class flights for all the players to tour every district in Ghana to celebrate,” Adams said.
The Black Stars are set to face Chad and Mali in their Matchday 7 and 8 qualifiers in September before concluding the group stage with matches against Comoros and the Central African Republic.
