National Ambulance Service shine at the advanced drills course 2-2024 at the Army Combat Training School

Intermediate EMT Agyei Takyiwaa Beatrice, a female instructor of the National Ambulance Service’s Paramedic and Emergency Care Training School (PECTS), in Nkenkaasu in the Ashanti region, grabbed three awards at the end of the three-month Advanced Drills Course 2.

Speaking in an interview, she attributed her outstanding performance to hard work and discipline, stating that the training was not a walk in the park.

She won the Best Allied Student Award, Best Female Student Award and Second Best Student Award.

The Course assembled on 6th October 2024 with 78 Students, comprising 66 males and 12 females from the Army, Navy, Airforce, Ghana Police Service, Ghana Prisons Service, Ghana National Fire Service, Ghana Revenue Authority (Customs) and National Ambulance Service.

The aim of the course is to equip personnel with up-to-date knowledge and enhance their ability to instruct in drills, be able to organize ceremonial parades at all levels, and broaden their outlook on matters of general knowledge in unit administration and the norms of the profession.

Intermediate EMT Agyei Takyiwaa Beatrice hails from Dormaa. She had her Senior High School Education at Mansen SHS in the Dormaa East District in the Bono region and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education from the University of Cape Coast.
