The National Service Personnel Association (NASPA) has held a free health screening exercise for its members.
The exercise was organised in collaboration with the Tiens Group International and the Greater Accra Regional Hospital.
The initiative which was extended to residents in the Korley Klottey Municipality was to improve healthcare quality and ensure that NSS personnel maintain good health.
In an interview with Adom News, the President of the Korley Klottey NASPA, Oppong Ababio Ezekiel urged service personnel nationwide to prioritise their health.
“This initiative is not just about offering a free service; it is about creating awareness and encouraging everyone to prioritize their well-being.
“By collaborating with organizations like Tiens Group International and the Greater Accra Regional Hospital, we are providing our personnel with the resources they need to stay healthy. A healthy personnel is a productive one, and it is essential for both personal growth and contributing effectively to our communities. We are dedicated to supporting our personnel in every way possible. Health is the foundation of a successful career and a fulfilling life. Let us all take this opportunity to make our health a priority,” he admonished.
The Municipal Chief Executive of the Korley Klottey Municipal Assembly, Nii Adjei Tawiah, commended the NASPA executives for their efforts and assured the assembly’s commitment to supporting them.
