The wife of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Vice Presidential candidate, Alma Pokua Adade-Prempeh, has urged Ghanaians to embrace love and unity as essential foundations for national development.

Speaking at the St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Society’s Archdiocesan Feast Day Celebration at the Holy Family Catholic Church on Wednesday, October 9, she highlighted the importance of collective responsibility, service, and compassion in building a prosperous nation.

Addressing the congregation, she reflected on the life of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus, drawing inspiration from her acts of love and service.

Mrs Adade-Prempeh stated that these values are not only key to spiritual growth but are also crucial for national progress.

She called on Ghanaians to adopt these principles in their everyday lives to help build a stronger, more inclusive society.

“St. Theresa’s life was a shining example of love in action—she lived with a heart open to serving others, no matter how small or grand the gesture,” Mrs Adade-Prempeh said.

“We are reminded that the strength of our society lies not only in its numbers but in its love and care for one another.”

Mrs Adade-Prempeh connected these values to the NPP’s vision for Ghana, emphasizing that true national development goes beyond infrastructure and economic growth.

She stressed that the NPP’s focus on empowering women and the youth and creating opportunities for all is rooted in the principles of service and compassion.

She highlighted the party’s commitment to education, job creation, and community support as part of its vision to build a nation where every citizen has the chance to succeed, regardless of their background.

“The NPP believes that national development is not just about infrastructure; it’s about building a society where every individual is valued, and where the vulnerable are cared for,” she said, underscoring the party’s dedication to inclusive development.

Her message comes as the 2024 elections approach, with the NPP seeking to galvanize support across the country.

Mrs Adade-Prempeh’s speech echoed the party’s core values of service, compassion, and unity, calling on Ghanaians to rally behind the NPP’s vision for a brighter and more unified future for all.

In her closing remarks, she commended the St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Society members for their dedication to charitable works and spiritual growth.

The event underscored the NPP’s focus on community engagement and its vision for national development rooted in love, unity, and service.
