The Vice Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh on Saturday led a mammoth walk in the Ashanti region.
Organised and led by the Bantama Constituency under the leadership of incumbent MP; Francis Asenso-Boakye, the event drew several Ministers, Members of Parliament and other government appointees to the region.
The walk sought to energize the party’s base in the Ashanti Region ahead of the December 7 election and recorded hue attendance.
Aside from the political figures and NPP supporters, some players in the creative arts industry who are known sympathizers of the NPP were also present.
Ghanaian actor, Agya Koo, musicians, Diana Asamoah, Sista Afia, Philipa Baafi, Great Ampong and Nicholas Omane Acheampong were in attendance.
The health walk started from the Kumasi Girls Senior School(SHS) through the principal streets of Kumasi.
The walk was climaxed with a rally in Bantama.
