PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC
JUBILEE HOUSE
ACCRA .

Dear Sir,

RESIGNATION FROM OFFICE AS DEPUTY EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR (OPERATIONS) OF THE NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME.

At the last National Delegates Conference of the New Patriotic Party, held in Koforidua, I had the honour of being elected as the National Youth Organizer of our great party. Prior to, and in the aftermath of my election, I reiterated my commitment to building a robust and effective youth wing, which will play a pivotal role in our party’s quest to retain power in 2020 and beyond.

In order for me to be able to discharge this duty, in this new role, to the best of my ability, I have decided, after extensive consultations with the leadership of our party and other stakeholders, to resign as the Deputy Executive Director of the National Service Scheme.

Mr. President, I am eternally grateful for the opportunity you gave me to serve in your government. My days at the National Service Scheme afforded me in-depth knowledge into a wide range of issues affecting and of concern to the youth of our country, and I will be relying on this experience, amongst others, to help your Government in meeting the aspirations of the teeming masses of Ghanaian youth and also the youth of our party.

I remain your loyal lieutenant who will, at all times, protect and defend the interests of your Government, and I look forward to serving you even more in my new role as National Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party.

I thank you, once again, Mr President for the opportunity, and may God continue to bless you.

Yours sincerely,

Henry Nana Boakye
National Youth Organizer
New Patriotic Party.
