NAM1 must publish evidence of $39 million Dubai debt – Amanda Clinton

-

The lawyer for Aggrieved Menzgold Customers, Amanda Clinton, has called on Chief Executive Officer of embattled gold dealership firm Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah, to publish evidence of the $39 million owed him by Royal Horizon Diamond in Dubai.

NAM1 has pleaded with the government to help his firm settle debts owed customers and to retrieve some $39 million debt owed him by a Dubai company, Royal Horizon.

However, speaking in an interview on Joy News, Ms Clinton said her clients were now focused on retrieving their monies and will need evidence to prove that the Dubai company owed him [NAM1] money.

“…he is telling us there is some $39 million somewhere but as it stands now, there hasn’t been a single case reference from Dubai as a piece of evidence,” Amanda noted.

According to Amanda, the publication of the evidence is the only means that can get the government to help with the retrieval.

“The lack of evidence will lead us to continue moving in circles and the blame game on government,” she added.
