Embattled Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Menzgold Company, Nana Appiah Mensah, has voluntarily revealed his medical condition at a press briefing held at the MJ Grand Hotel in Accra.
The returnee CEO has revealed at the briefing that he is still receiving medical attention, as a result, of his detention in the United Arab Emirates and Ghana.

NAM1, as he is popularly called in Ghana, said the receipt of the medical attention was as a result of “excruciating pains” he is suffering due to his detention in the UAE and later in Ghana.
” I have swellings; blood clot in my pelvic region,” he told the media in Accra on Monday.

Nana Appiah’s press conference was to address all outstanding issues since his return to Ghana in July 2019 from the United Arab Emirates.
The Menzgold CEO is currently standing trial for “defrauding by false pretence and money laundering” after his gold dealership company failed to honour obligations to several thousands of depositors.
