Though the church has begun disciplinary actions, it has also reported the matter to the police for prompt action.
While discipline will prevail, the Church will not condemn any member who errs. The Church will rather maintain it’s role in ensuring that all who fall short or make uninformed decisions are still offered a Christ-like response to their human failings at all times.

In the video, Pastor Appiah is seen being violently assaulted by a group of men at the residence of a young lady who it is alleged, he was in a compromising position with.
Executive leadership of the Church wishes to notify the public of the following:
0. The matter has been reported to the relevant security agencies for immediate investigation.
0. Church internal investigations have also been initiated into the matter. Indeed the Church Founder – Prophet Badu Kobi prophesied weeks before, with all the congregation present, of an impending attempt to disgrace the visiting Pastor, using a woman.
0. It is therefore the church’s position that Pastor Appiah was set up.
0. Irrespective of the outcomes of both investigations, the Church condemns in no uncertain terms the acts of violence perpetuated against Pastor Appiah.
While discipline will prevail, the Church will not condemn any member who errs. The Church will rather maintain it’s role in ensuring that all who fall short or make uninformed decisions, are still offered a Christ-like response to their human failings at all times.
In conclusion, Glorious Wave Church International will continue to remain focused on its core ministry mission to change the lives of Christians to influence the world. Also, the church has advised pastor Appiah to take legal action against the perpetrators of this calculated assault.
