The Second Lady of the Republic of Ghana, Her Excellency Hajia Samira Bawumia, has declared that her husband, Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia, has performed better than any Vice President in the history of Ghana.

Hajia Samira Bawumia made this statement during her 5-day tour of the Western North Region.

During her visit to the Aowin Municipal capital, Enchi, she paid a courtesy call on the Aowin traditional leaders and engaged with the market women.

Addressing a gathering at the Enchi lorry station, H.E. Samira Bawumia asserted that her husband, who is also the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential candidate, has significantly outperformed all previous vice presidents in Ghana’s history.

In her speech, Samira Bawumia highlighted various accomplishments of the current administration, attributing significant progress in economic reforms, digitalization efforts, and social interventions to her husband’s leadership.

She emphasized the transformative impact of these initiatives on the lives of Ghanaians, particularly in rural communities.

“The strides we have made in digitalization, economic reforms, and social interventions under my husband’s leadership have been unprecedented. These initiatives have truly transformed the lives of many Ghanaians, especially those in rural areas,” she stated.

She further appealed to Ghanaians to vote for Dr. Bawumia on December 7 to become the president of the country. During her visit, the Second Lady donated hospital beds and surgical protective equipment to the Aowin health directorate.

Meanwhile, the NPP parliamentary candidate for the Aowin Constituency, Abanga Yakubu Fuseini, popularly known as “NPP Abanga,” called on the people of Aowin to also vote for him to become the Member of Parliament for the area.

He assured them that he would work diligently to bring the development they desire.
