A 60-year-old Muslim cleric, is in the grips of the police for allegedly sodomizing a 12-year-old boy in his house at Bimbilla in the Northern region.
The suspect, Mallam Alhassan Ibrahim who is an Arabic teacher, according to reports lured the victim, a student in his class to house when the incident occurred.
According to reports, he dragged the victim into his room and inserted his manhood into the victim’s anus.
The district Police Commander, DSP Benjamin Aniah confirmed this unfortunate incident to Adom News Monday.
He indicated that, the police arrested the 60-year-old Mallam upon a tip off from residents.

Meanwhile, the young boy is currently in the hospital in a critical condition.
